Quote
I found this quote last week, and I love it:
To be a witness
does not consist
in engaging in propaganda,
nor even in stirring people up,
but in being a living mystery. It means to live
in such a way
that one’s life
would not make sense
if God did not exist.- Emmanuel Célestin Cardinal Suhard (April 5, 1874—May 30, 1949)
Just wanted to share – Happy Monday!

Nice quote, Jon. Are you preaching from the lectionary these days? Seems to me that the Gospel lesson (John 9:1-41) for March 2 is a biblical example of the truth of that quote.
And thanks for your invite to check out your new blog! Nice digs you’ve got here!
Good point on the text.
I’m actually off-lectionary these days. I got bold for a lenten series and decided to do a few sermons on “Dealing with Death” (see the post from last week). And I’m going to interrupt that series this week to talk about some of the things we experienced in our revival last week. But I’ll be back to the lectionary after Easter!
I would like to come here again. It sounds god to me, and there’s a lot of interesting information here
